2009 HSR-Benelli Units Receive Provisional Homologation

The following 2009 HSR-Benelli units have received Provisional Homologation for competition in IJSBA Sanctioned Events outside of the USA (excluding World Finals):

Please note that this homologation is provisional. Completed homologation is subject to factory inspection, production verification, meeting stated quantities, accuracy of horsepower measurement, etc. The IJSBA will announce the results of investigations and research into these subjects.

Please note that Series S Units have a displacement of 1130 cc. HSR-Benelli has issued these units as 1100cc units with a factory corrected bore. Therefore, subject to Rule 5.1.3, there shall be no additional overbore allowed for a series S unit. Similar to the prior homologation of the Yamaha GP 1300R, performance modification restrictions may apply in classes where performance modifications are allowed due to a slight deviation from the required base displacement of 1100cc.

The IJSBA would like to state that HSR-Benelli has been very cooperative in the class designations of their 2009 product line. HSR-Benelli wishes to showcase their products in the classes with comparable powered PWC in order to best showcase their competiveness. HSR-Benelli, and especially their sales and marketing manager, Esti Amatriain, are to be highly commended for their dedication to a stable and enjoyable racing environment.
