IJSBA is pleased to share news, photos, and results from 2019 Argentina National Championship held January 19-20, 2019 in Villa Rumipal. The IJSBA Affiliate, in Argentina, has been one of the driving forces in the upward growth of watercraft racing in South America. The Cordoba Jet Ski Association, by all accounts, did an amazing job of organizing an extreme sports outing for all to enjoy. Please see the following news and results about the event. More than 60 individual pilots showed up for this event, some traveled more than 1000 Kilometers for competition. National racers included representatives from Buenos Aires, Mendoza, San Nicolas, Romallo, and Rosario.
Saturday consisted of qualifying and free circuit riding for all categories. Final events were held on Sunday. The local authorities conducted a surprise sobriety inspection to ensure that enjoying the local beverages was happening only after riding was completed. As expected, there were no reports of any competitors under the influence with this IJSBA promoter proudly touting the responsibility of his organization and of the participants.

Government officials as well as authorities from CBA Program X were present and were all impressed with the event. A BMX stunt show and Fly Board exhibition was included in the program. All categories were well challenged with the outcome of many categories coming down to the last lap of the last moto.
This event is part of a Triple Crown. The next round will take place on April 20 with competitors and organizers promising an even larger turnout and the best finale in the history of South American Watersports
