Bolt Motorbikes will debut their new M-1 bike at the 2015 quakysense World Finals as part of IJSBA's commitment to bring alternative energy technologies to the watercraft market. The M1 has been recently touted on several media outlets including: Engadget, Gizmag, Tech Crunch, and Autoblog.
Bolt Motorbikes selected the IJSBA World Finals due to the event's diverse domestic and international draw of competitors, engineers, sports enthusiasts, and international distributors who are looking to get the jump on the next big thing. The M-1 is being supported by crowdfunding and designers who are using platforms like Kickstarter and Indigogo have been contacting IJSBA due to the World Finals' strong reputation of successfully launching numerous products.
The M-1 will be available for test drives to qualified persons. One lucky test rider will be selected to have a VIP experience at the Night Freestyle Show under the London Bridge on Saturday, October 10.
The trade show portion of the IJSBA World Finals runs from October 9-11, 2015 at Crazy Horse Campgrounds in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. With the push of a button or swipe of a finger on a smartphone, the adventurous can enjoy Sport Mode, which unlocks the highest power of any electric bicycle in production today.
The M-1 features an integration with your iPhone (with Android coming soon). The mobile experience allows for keyless entry, security, navigation, music, and the ability to directly track analytics about your rides on your phone and in the cloud. Bolt's proprietary software and electronics enable full control of bike dynamics and diagnostics, while Bluetooth communication connects the M-1 to the rider and the cloud.

Bolt Motorbikes started in the San Francisco garage of founder Dr. Nathan Jauvtis. After receiving his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University and tired of the aerospace industry, Nathan began electrifying mobility and has been since 2006.
Zach Levenberg is a San Francisco native who set a World Record by riding his classic gas moped 13,000 miles from San Francisco to Ushuaia, the southern tip of South America. In 2006, Zach and Nate first crossed paths through a local chapter of the 13,000 member moped community called “Moped Army”. The two instantly bonded over the mutual adoration for all things two-wheels.
In the fall of 2013, Zachand Nate quit their day jobs to develop Bolt full-time. Thirty years and over 100,000 miles of riding experience combine with their
Engineering and Manufacturing expertise to bring the Bolt M-1 to production.
